Comics & Graphic Novels

Outer Limits Boro stocks major titles from Marvel, DC, Darkhorse, Dynamite, IDW, and Image, as well as many of the smaller publishers. We have an extensive selection of Silver, Bronze, and Modern Age comics in our back stock section, as well as what may be the biggest “dollar” book table in the mid-south. We carry a wide array of comics supplies, including modern and silver age bags and boards, top-loaders, comic frames, and mylar.

We don't just stop with selling the comics either. We are very happy to to talk comics, and if you have questions, we often have the answers. The world of comics is ever changing and it can be tough to keep up. Don't hestitate to ask about whats hot and whats not. If we know, we will happily share with you. Many a long conversation about "this comics title" or "that comics character" come up at Outer Limits Boro. Thats part of the fun! Join right in the conversation or start one up.

20% Off Hold Box Titles We also offer our comics subscription service in which we hold selected titles to ensure you never miss your favorite books. Come in to the shop and sign up for at least five monthly titles and we’ll hold those books for you, and also give you a 20% discount on those books, and also any graphic novels or back-issues you purchase.

Outer Limits Boro stocks one of the largest selections of graphic novels in the area. While we can’t carry everything, the books on our shelves have consistently proven to be among the best sellers and the most critically proclaimed in the nation, including some of those hard to find Vertigo titles. If we don’t have the particular book you’re looking for, ask us if we can special order it. If its still in print, chances are we can order it and have it for you in week or less (although some can take a little longer). And, yes, we carry those Walking Dead volumes everyone is looking for!

Games and Gaming

Games at Outer Limits Boro Magic the Gathering is by far the biggest game at Outer Limits Boro. We boast of some of the best players in the state and hold regular tournaments weekly, including drafts and standard constructed. We also have an entire showcase dedicated to nothing but Magic singles and rares.

Saturday afternoons find our Heroclix players deep in competition in the War Room. Build your team and join them in saving – or destroying – the world.

We also carry Yu-Gi-Oh, Naruto, and other collectible card games and will be setting up tournament schedules soon.

In addition to games, Outer Limits Boro also carries an extensive selection of gaming supplies such as card sleeves, dice, dice bags, counters, and card binders.

Statues and Busts

For those of discriminating tastes, Outer Limits Boro stocks a large number of statues, busts, and maquettes, including those from fan favorite Hard Hero, based here in Murfreesboro. Ranging from Transformers to Marvel and DC superheroes, these colorful collectibles are dynamic and powerful, and are sure to enhance anyone’s desk or office.

Vintage and Collectible Toys

Vintage and collectible toys have been a tradition at Outer Limits Boro since its inception. Specializing in Star Wars and GI Joe figures and vehicles over the last few years, the store has also ventured into Transformers, Master of the Universe, MacFarlane, DC Direct, and Diamond Select, as well as many others.
