The OLB is ready to celebrate Free Comics Day!

Free Comics Day at the OLB is always a special time, as we break out everything in our power to make sure our customers have a wonderful time, and this year will be no different.
In addition to the regular free comics from the various publishers, we’re also putting out eight to ten boxes (maybe more) of freebies. We ask that you limit your free books to ten from the wall, and ten from the free boxes.
Sale items will include:
Regular graphic novels will be 50% off. Graphics and trades on the dollar table will be $3.00 for paperbacks and $5.00 for hardbacks. And, concerning that dollar table: books from that location will be $0.89 per pound. That’s right, comics for 89 cents a pound! As the table sells down, more books will be placed in it, giving you more opportunities as the day progresses.
There will be special deals on toys and statues. As usual, all yellow-tagged items are not part of the festivities.
Spider-man and Batman have indicated they’ll be here, along with the gang from GTX.
And beginning at 10 am, a Pokemon pre-release event will start, featuring the new Dark Explorers expansion boosters.
The fun starts at 10 and continues till we close Saturday at 8 pm. We’ll see you there!
